It’s been a busy year since little one arrived, and I’ve started new creative work to balance maternity with making, please take a trip over to www.brightmoon.co to see my current work in weaving.
Bright Moon has also become a studio and art gallery for Artists Open Houses which is a festival held in Brighton each May to show the best of artist-makers in their home studio environments, we launch today (May 6th 2017) and are open each weekend throughout May, 10am – 4pm.
Please also have a read of the wonderful blog post by YAK (yarn and knitting, Brighton) to see their feature about Brighton textile artists showing during this AOH, including myself, doll maker Melodie Stacey and several other makers.
One final thing, I have become a member of the Heritage Crafts Association take a look at their makers directory and red list of crafts they are promoting and protecting & if your work is on the list, please consider joining!!
All best wishes for a fruitful and artistic summer everyone!
